CQC rated Good provider.One to One Support Services can provide support workers which are highly skilled and have in depth knowledge of supporting and working with older people. This can include home care.
One to One Support Services provides Support Workers which are highly skilled, have excellent communication skills and have an in-depth knowledge of supporting and working with older people. This service covers areas that require sitting services to dementia care and end of life care. Our services are available in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, and Yorkshire.
We understand that older people can sometimes feel lonely and separated from their communities. Our services aim to provide personal assistance which can help a person be a part of the community, to socialise, access other services and maintain their independence. One to One Support Services provides activities for older people which encourage them to be involved in their community and the outside world.
Our staff help people with everything from letters to keeping up to date with the news and information, provide assistance with telephone calls as well as many other things.
Staff work with people on a one to one basis and are trained to support you in many situations and can escort you on journeys to locations such as:
- Shops
- Clubs and groups
- Leisure and recreational activities - Bowling, church, outdoor pursuits, garden centers etc
- Appointments - Medical, Health, Hairdressers, etc.
- Daily life activities - Support to make meals, laundry, and general household duties.
- Visiting friends
- Going on day trips
- Holidays
- Companionship and sitting services
Staff are available to work in:
- Private homes
- Residential
- Health care and social services establishments
- The majority of our staff have transport to escort you where you need to go
How do we work?
A number of hours in a service can vary, you can use them on an ad hoc basis, daily, or weekly. We offer support at a time and place of your choice. We work to suit your needs. We work with you to plan your service, a worker is assigned to you, so you have the consistency of staff that will get to know your preferences. You book your service hours when you need them we invoice you monthly for the hours.

In order to provide the best service for you, staff are uniquely matched to each person based upon their qualifications and experiences.
Services are regularly reviewed with the person and their chosen key people in order for the person to make changes and give feedback, tailoring the service and gaining information from the person about their preferences, wishes and needs enable staff to provide exactly the right support.
This is important for the person and it's important to us. Peoples needs and situations change and our services are flexible to accommodate this.
The staff at One to One Support Services are professional and work from a strict Code of Practice. They will act with respect, discretion, and confidentiality at all times. Promoting and supporting people to be as independent as possible. All our staff are thoroughly vetted at interview stage and have an Enhanced DBS check with all references gained prior to commencing work.
When services are being delivered a manager is on call 24 hours a day.
