Ministry of Defence Employer Recognition Scheme
In July 2016 One to One Support Services was delighted to have its MoD Employer Recognition Scheme Bronze Award confirmed for the first time.
The Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) encourages employers to support defence and inspire others to do the same. The scheme encompasses bronze, silver and gold awards for employer organisations that pledge, demonstrate or advocate support to defence and the armed forces community, and align their values with the Armed Forces Covenant.
As a bronze award holder One to One Support Services has undertaken the following commitments:
- One to One Support Services pledge to support the armed forces, including existing or prospective employees who are members of the community
- One to One Support Services has signed the Armed Forces Covenant
- One to One Support Services promote being armed forces-friendly and we are open to employing reservists, armed forces veterans (including the wounded, injured and sick), cadet instructors and military spouses/partners
- One to One Support Services ensures all staff understand policies relating to defence people and reserves
- One to One Support Services ensures all current staff who are members of the reserves have an additional 5 days’ leave to undertake reservist activity
