Apprenticeships and Traineeships

One to One Support Services run a range of Health and Social Care and Childcare Traineeships and Apprenticeships in Derbyshire and Yorkshire.

Our dedicated team of tutors and assessors can help you reach your goal of gaining a career in Care or turn your existing skills into a qualification.

Why do a Traineeship?

Our traineeships are completely free for 16-24-year-olds. It will help you gain the skills and experience you need to embrace your career in Health and Social Care and Childcare Sector. A Traineeship with One to One will help you with travel expenses* and bursaries*. We will also help you to progress onto an apprenticeship and move onto further education.

Why do an Apprenticeship?

Apprenticeships are a great way of earning while learning, and if you begin learning before turning 18 the course is free. And between the ages of 19-23, the Government will fund 50% of your course. You will be gaining practical and relevant skills to which you can progress throughout your role in the Health and Social Care and Childcare sector.

What is the difference between an Apprenticeship and a Traineeship?

There are a few similarities between the two, for example, they are both designed for younger people combining work and training. Traineeships are designed to help people who want to move into an apprenticeship or work. Unlike apprentices, traineeship people don't have some essential skills like Maths and English or they have more limited work experience.
