This training aims to provide learners with a basic awareness of the Mental Capacity Act and covers the measures put in place to protect those in hospitals, care homes or other healthcare organisations from being inappropriately deprived of their liberty. This course introduces the fundamentals of the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) and covers the purpose of the MCA.
This course is part of the CQC mandatory courses required for all staff working in the Care Sector. It is a requirement for all care workers who will be working with individuals suffering from mental health issues.

The course is half a day, running 09:00 am - 12:30 pm

The courses are run at our Training Academy which is 10 Minutes away from Chesterfield town centre and has regular bus routes every 10 minutes and there is plenty of parking available.
