About Us

One to One Support Services are specialists in delivering high quality support. We specialise in, older persons services, disability/special needs, children and family services and multi-sensory impairments.

We pride ourselves on delivering excellent domiciliary services and our reputation for quality, reliability and coordination of care. One to One Support Services was established in January 2006 by its Director and Founder, Melanie Ulyatt MBE.

We are specialists in dual sensory impairment. Our vision is a world which individuals are supported in their own homes and communities. We provide high calibre support to children, adults older people with special needs, sensory impairments and disabilities at a time and place to suit you.

One to One also has a Training Academy, where we offer a comprehensive range of Training and Consultancy Services. We are an approved registered training centre with the Council for the Advancement of Communication with Deaf People and all courses are delivered by approved tutors.

Our Training and Consultancy Services are led by industry experts in Sensory Impairment, Operational Management and quality specialist service delivery. At One to One, we believe in individual development and achievement for both our staff and clients whom we support.

Our Training Academy also offers courses in British Sign Language and we are the only Signature approved centre in Chesterfield and we are an approved Health and Social Care centre for City and Guilds courses.

Our Milestones

One to One Training Academy has been a registered training provider for Signature since 2009.

We became a Trusted Trader with Derbyshire County Council in 2009.

The Training Academy has been registered with City and Guilds since 2011.

We gained the Investors in People GOLD award in 2012 and held it until 2018.

Latest Course

Signature Level 1 Award in British Sign Language (QCF) is designed to enable learners to communicate with Deaf people in British Sign Language (BSL). A range of topics are studied that involve simple, everyday language use. It provides an introduction to BSL and is suitable for all learners.

When does the next course start?The next course starts 7th September 2020. Where is the course held?The courses are run at our Training Academy which is 10 Minutes away from Chesterfield town centre and has regular bus routes every 10 minutes.
